With this design, these needle nose pliers are suitable for different tasks: for fine, well metered gripping and holding of components and for the efficient cutting of cables and wires. The shape of the cutting edge on the Knipex 25 01 160 results in an efficient bite type cut – as with diagonal cutters.
Thanks to the additional induction hardening of the blades (cutting edge hardness approx. 61 HRC), it powerfully cuts cable, soft and medium-hard wire (cutting capacity Ø 2.5 mm) and hard wire (cutting capacity Ø 1.6 mm).
